1. Purpose

This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into the Piiko Terms of Service. The terms "Piiko," "we," and "us" include Piiko Apps. This Privacy Policy explains our online and offline information practices, the kinds of information we may collect, how we intend to use, store, protect, disclose and share that information, and how you can opt out of a use or correct or change such information.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information that is Processed by Piiko in the course of our business, including on Piiko websites (each a "Site"), mobile applications, forums, blogs, and other online or offline offerings (together with any and all future online and offline offerings operated by or on behalf of Piiko (the "Services")). All individuals whose responsibilities include the Processing of Personal Information on behalf of Piiko are expected to protect that data by adhering to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is intended to meet requirements globally, including those in North America, Europe, Estonia, APAC, and other jurisdictions. By visiting, installing, using or otherwise accessing the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Services of Piiko and give an explicit and informed consent to the processing of your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please do not install or use the Services if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy or Terms of Services. Please note that Piiko is not responsible for the actions of Third Parties, the content of their sites, the use of information you provide to them or any services they may offer. Piiko reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy and your continued use of the Services shall mean your acceptance of the changes to this Privacy Policy.

3. Types of Personal Information We Collect and How We Use It

The types of Personal Information we may collect (directly from you or from Third-party sources) and our privacy practices depend on the nature of the relationship you have with Piiko and the requirements of applicable law. Some of the ways that Piiko may collect Personal Information include: you may provide Personal Information directly to Piiko through interacting with the Services, participate in Services feedback, questionnaires, surveys, or contests or participating in forums discussions, and requesting Services, or information; and as you navigate the Services, certain passive information may also be collected about your visit, including through Cookies and similar technologies as described below. Primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services, to administer your use of the Services and to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our Services. We endeavor to collect only that information that is relevant for the purposes of Processing. Below are the ways we collect Personal Information and how we use it.

3.1 Types of Personal Information We Collect

Piiko collects Personal Information regarding its current, prospective, and former clients, customers, users, visitors, and guests (collectively "Individuals").

3.1.1 Information Collected from Third-parties when Installing and Playing the Apps

If you play any of the apps or use any of the Services on connected Third-party applications or connect the Services to any Third-party applications, like Apple, Google, Amazon and/or from Social Networking Sites ("SNS") such as Facebook, Piiko may receive certain information about you from the provider of the Third-party application. The information received depends on the Third-party application, your privacy settings and, if applicable, your friends' privacy settings on that Third-party application.

3.1.2 Information Collected Directly from You

When you use the services or engage in certain activities, such as Registering for an Account with our apps, responding to surveys, requesting services or information, or contacting us directly, we may ask you to provide some or all of the following types of information.

3.1.2.1 Face Detection

We use facial recognition solely to detect the presence of a human face in a photo if the user provides an image for photo/video generation. This ensures that image manipulation features are only available when a person is present. Facial recognition is performed locally on the device, and no facial data is collected, stored, or transmitted

3.1.2.2 Photo/Video Processing

When users apply AI effects in the app, the selected photo is sent securely to our servers for temporary processing. As part of this process, the photo may be shared with trusted third-party AI providers, specifically OpenAI and Google Gemini, solely for the purpose of generating the requested effects. The photo is used only momentarily during processing and is not stored or retained afterward. No photo data is used for training purposes or shared beyond the processing task.

3.1.3 Automated Data Collection

We or the Service Providers acting on our behalf, such as Fabric Analytics and Google Analytics, may store log files and use tracking technologies such as Cookies, web beacons and/or tracking pixels.

3.1.4 Information Submitted Via Services

You agree that Piiko is free to use the content of any communications you submit via the Services, including any ideas, inventions, concepts, techniques, or know-how disclosed therein, for any purpose including developing, manufacturing and/or marketing the Services.

3.1.5 Ad Networks

Piiko may feature advertising within the Services.

3.1.6 Social Media Widgets

The Services includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook and Twitter button, and Widgets, such as the "Share" button or interactive mini-programs that run on the Services.

4. How We May Disclose Your Information

Other Players and Users

Social features are in the core of our apps. Other players may see your profile data, in-app activities and achievements, read the messages you have posted and your scores on the local and global leaderboards.

5. International Transfer

All Personal Information collected via or by Piiko may be stored anywhere in the world, including, but not limited to, in Estonia, the United States, the European Union, in the cloud, on our servers and on the servers of our affiliates or the servers of our Service Providers.

6. Opt Out (Right to Restrict Processing)

You have the right to opt out of certain uses and disclosures of your Personal Information. When you have consented to Piiko's processing of your Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information, you may withdraw that consent at any time and opt out to further Processing by opening an in-app support ticket or, alternatively, by contacting piiko@piiko.app.

7. Rights of Access, Rectification, Erasure, and Restriction

You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of Personal Information or restriction of processing, the right to object and the right to data portability.

8. Data Retention

Piiko retains the Personal Information collected as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our Services or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected.

9. Security of Your Information

The Personal Information that you provide to Piiko is stored on servers that are located in secured facilities and protected by protocols and procedures designed to ensure industry-standard security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and Piiko does not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from children under 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child under the age of 13 who uses our apps, please contact us at piiko@piiko.app.

California law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, a list of the Third Parties to whom we have disclosed their Personal Information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year.
